Typical specimen of calcite from Boccheggiano mines: these specimens wrongly were called 'strontium-aragonite'.
They are not even of aragonite, because they should become yellow at the UV short light, but this specimen didn't react.
It is absolutely true however that at the UV long light it becomes pink shocking !
