Cerussite - Touissit, Touissit-Bou Beker mining district, Jerada Province, Oriental Region, Morocco (#:CULT1877)

A classic specimen of cerussite from Touissit. This attractive cabinet features a beautiful reticulated/twinned pale smoky crystals with excellent luster and sharp faces plus a slight satiny interior quality. The piece is quite well crystallized, not perfect in all the parts, but consistent. These specimens are no longer being found, and they truly represent some of the most distinctive and attractive cerussites from any world locality. From the collection of Paolo Rodighiero, Padua.
