Sulphur - Niccioletta mine, Massa Marittima, Grosseto, Toscana, Italia (#:FERR1607)

Sulphurs in Italy are surely first associated with Sicily, but there are also others less known localities where good specimens have been found. In this case, an excellent oldtimer from the "colline metallifere" in Tuscany, featuring bi pyramidal crystals scattered on matrix. Mine closed in 1992. This piece dates back to the last years of operations.
