This mine is actually the type locality for a handful of species and is well-known for producing some of the brightest and most attractive Tinzenites around. This species is part of the Axinite group, though Axinite is not included in the name. This specimen hosts several bright-orange color, layered, "rosette"-like groups of Tinzenite with good luster and form, which are associated with gem quality Quartz crystals on matrix.
