Lorenzenite - N'orkpakhk Mt, Murmansk Oblast, Russia (#:MINS9181)

Crystals of deep brown Lorenzenite up to 16x14 mm, very well defined, esthetically set on matrix.This specimen isn't from Lovozero, but from Northern slope of N'orkpakhk Mt in Khibina - This material is icomparable much more rare than one from Selsurt Mt. It is magmatic origin in difference of metasomatic Lovozero lorenzenites. In difference from Selsurt Mt deposit, lorenzenite at N'orkpakhk Mt was completely mined (mainly for eudialyte xls) already to the end of 80th. For the moment such samples are preserved only in "old collections".
