This Polish sulphur mine is well-known for sharp hauerite crystals. This is a classic cluster of sharp, moderately lustrous, reddish-brown modified octahedron uo to 7 mm wide. Hauerite is rare Mn-sulfide, a member of the Pyrite Group. A fine example of the rare species and locale. Most hauerite specimens you see are from Italy.
