Quartz with Niobophyllite - Mount Malosa, Zomba, Southern Region, Malawi (#:MINS8666)

Niobophyllite is an extremely rare species containing niobium and titanium, the best of which come from this incredibly interesting REE deposit. This nice specimen show brown blades of Nyobophyllite crystals up to 7-8 mm both inside the smocky quartz crystal and outside the matrix.Quartz xl is 4,6 cm tall.
