Name origin:
For the locality at the Bastnäs mines, Riddarhyttan, Skinnskatteberg, Västmanland, Sweden, plus the "Hydroxyl" prefix due to the dominance of the hydroxyl radical over fluorine and the "-(Ce)" suffix due to the dominance of cerium in the composition.
