Eudidymite is a rare hydrated Na-Be silicate. This is a striking, splayed book of pearlescent, tan blades. An aesthetic and excellent example of this uncommon species.

This is a very nice association specimen of pearly, translucent, bladed, well-formed epididymite with black aegirine crystals from the famous Mount Malosa locality in Malawi.
