Chalcocite - Bouismas Mine - Bouismas - Bou Azer distr. - Tazenakht - Ouarzazate prov. - Souss-Massa-Draâ Region - Morocco (#:GM15161)

A really new that I presented on my table in Munich !! A new found of chalcocite from Bouismas, a mineral that is really rare in Morocco. This specimen is a floater of typical dark grey colored, opaque and good terminated crystals of chalcocite. The blue iridescence is probably due to a coating of bornite.
