It's a specimen of baryte of two generations. The bottom is made by big crystals of azur barytes that are completely covered by white-yellow crystals. It was hard to believe, because the crystallization of the white barites is like a flower, they seem crystals of Sardinian aragonite. To avoid any doubt we put the item in the hydrochloric acid: all the crystals remained intact !! So we can really say that this specimen is made by two crystallization of barytes. The crystals of azur baryte are till 25 mm and the others till 6 mm. It seems a field of flowers !!
Attention, the pictures enhance the yellow colour of the crystal, probabily for the artificial lights: the real colour is more white than the appearance.

A monster from Chivor mine !! This gorgeous killer specimen of emerald has a large aggregate of long crystals that is dramatically layed down the white matrix. The emeralds are partially twinned and intersected and have perfect shapes and terminations. Not all the details are absolutely perfect, but I ask to the collectors if it’s possible to find in Internet another item like this , and with this price !
The aggregate if of 48 mm. of tall, the main crystals is of 28 x 8 x 5 mm. Its colour is not a deep green, but it has great luster and transparency. It was find in the Chivor mine, so it’s more uncommon that those of Muzo.
The dark grey of the matrix makes a nice contrast with the white of its surface and the green of the crystals, it’s an aesthetically perfect specimen !!
A brownish-greyish residual of a pudding-stone surround the green crystals and was worked to evidence them: it has several microcavities, where is possible to see some pretty, translucent, white little snakes. These are crystals of kaolinite, similar to that of the image in the main page of this mineral on Mindat. In some of my pictures they seems like yarns that are scattering out of the matrix
